Often hears about parents complain about their teenage children that were difficult to upbringing. In the ages of teenage, some of them have very intensive personality and reverse psychology. Nevertheless, most parents raised their children with great love, patience, and show the children more understanding and tolerance their mistakes. Parents would not give up the child, unless the child give up on herself. In the movie, April did not get her parents to understand, until April's mother has been terminated cancer. The Thanksgiving brought April's family together again, maybe this would be the last Thanksgiving that April's family reunion, and everyone wanted to leave a good memory. Although April had problem with her broke oven, and Bobby had struggled to borrow a suit, they finally solve the problems.
One episode in the bathroom had make April's mother aware of the responsibility for growth April. She was easily gave a conclusion to April that she was a bad girl and she let April to face her own fate. After April's mother realized her fault, the family spent a warm, touching Thanksgiving.
Overall, life have been treated April and her family well. At least, they had a chance to make up for the things they have done. But most of time in life, people do not have time or opportunity to make up mistakes. In general, people do not realize what they did wrong, until they lost the opportunity.
The last scene of the film is especially touching. April's families are harmony together, her mother passed away with no regrets, April will continue to live with found memories.
